Game of Thrones Season 7 Leaked News|Info|CLIPS|Episode | 'Updated Daily'
Hi guys, so as we are now starting to get some regular info regarding Season 7, I thought I'd stick this up and will be updating it whenever new info is released.<br />
1. Character reunions of people who haven't met since season 1
One thing is now clear, as filming on Game of Thrones Season 7 continues: the world is shrinking. Characters long separated by space are coming together, meaning characters who've seen each other in a very long time can reunite, and ones who have never met can get to know each other.
So when Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) teases more reunions in Game of Thrones Season 7, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Talking to Variety at the Emmy Awards (the gift that keeps on giving), Coster-Waldau talked about that Jon and Sansa reunion, and said to expect more of the same in Season 7:
We started seeing it in Season 6; you’re going to see that start occurring more and characters that met in the first episode of Season 1 are meeting.
It makes perfect sense to cross each other’s pather again. Personally, I’m excitedly anticipating Jaime, or even Tyrion and Bronn/Pod and a reunion between Tyrion. Additionally, we must assume that, at some point, Daenerys will come face to face with the HQIC (Head Queen in Charge), Cersei Lannister. And lad, won’t that be enjoyable to see?
You can find many, many chances for reunions in Season 7. For instance:
Arya could turn toward Winterfell and be reunited with Sansa and Jon.
Along those lines, Bran could see his sister and half brother/ cousin again after he heads south of the Wall.
As the Red Priestess foretold in Season 3 conversely, Arya could cross paths with Melisandre.
Arya has a tearful reunion with Nymeria; her dire wolf could reunite with the Hound, or Gendry, or even. As she hasn’t been in a while, the field is especially rich for her.
The possibilities are wide open for Season 7. With the storyline tapering down, Westeros should become a place that is busy really by Season 8.
2. New Info about Season 7 filming locations in Spain, a looming battle
All these places are scenario in the Cáceres area of Spain, which can be becoming the production’s hub for the reason that country. Info and the graphics they brought back gave hints about what they'll be used for.
WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD
Let’s look. Based on reports, this location has been booked for nearly a month by the generation, from mid-November to mid-December, and is presumed to be where next season’s important battle scene will be filmed. As LSR notes, when this advice originally broke, everyone concentrated on Los Barruecos, a striking waterfront area. We wondered if the production would film a Normandy-invasion kind of sea-to-property conflict. But per LSR, the conflict will be filmed in an area called Las Breñas, a little northeast of Los Barruecos. It seems like it’ll be a property battle, all things considered.
That area should be greener come December and November, incidentally.
Like the region in Saintfield, Northern Ireland, where the production filmed the Conflict of the Bastards, the Season 7 battle will be filmed on a personal estate, the better to keep away prying eyes. Per LSR, filming here calls for around 500 extras and 100 horses. And a minumum of one dragon, although LSR couldn’t entirely confirm that last little.
According to LSR, the production will indeed shoot a number of things at Los Barruecos, but most of the time will be spent around Las Breñas. What smaller scenes are shot around Los Barruecos will happen at Barrueco de Arriba.
Again, envision it being greener. Finally, LSR has discovered that HBO will be filming characters being carried in litters that were elaborate down routes in these areas. We’re not sure who, however. We’ve seen the Lannisters travel Olenna, as well as that way around King’s touchdown. It’s Dany that is hard to picture would bow to being carried in a box, though.
The major information is the creation will reportedly shoot there for three days around November 18. We’d formerly discovered that they be there for only one. That rules out the idea that it was only used for a backdrop shot that would later be smothered in CGI, like the bridge of Córdoba was to create the Long Bridge of Volantis.
What will Trujillo be used for? That’s more difficult to determine. The people at LSR guess it may be used to stand in for someplace in Essos, since there was a call for extras to play what sounded like female slaves a while back, and they likely won’t be used in Malpartida (where the production didn’t call for any women) or in town of Cáceres (which will likely stand in for King’s Landing, where there are no slaves). So although most of our characters are back in Westeros, we may not be done with Essos (or slavery) yet. Dany’s going to be *quite* disappointed when she finds out.
3. Game of Thrones Season 7 is filming in Saintfield, where “Battle of the Bastards” was shot
Game of Thrones has returned to the bastard nation, but never to film anything comparable to what happened there last time.
But don’t worry: nothing nearly as complex as the Bastard Bowl is occurring there this time. We last saw the Winterfell godswood in “The Winds of Winter,” when Littlefinger and Sansa had one of their difficult hallmark meetings. Given that Jon is the King in the North, he and Sansa have lots of quiet contemplation to do. What better spot compared to the gods wood?
And recall: Bran is on his way back to Winterfell, or at least south. Possibly he’s reached Winterfell and is enjoying some alone time of his own. Additionally, there’s a scene in A Dance with Dragons by looking through the eyes of its tree that are weirwood where Bran witnesses occasions in Winterfell’s past. Maybe something like that is happening.
Anyway, it ’s fine that the creation has returned under a gentler shooting schedule. After what occurred there last year, the place could use some rest.
4. Game of Thrones wants 70 horses for filming in Extremadura, Spain
As filming for Game of Thrones Season 7 continues, Spanish-language website Hoy reports that the production team is looking to picture a scene or scenes in Extremadura, a region in Spain. HBO will be shooting Trujillo Castle: the city of Cáceres, the village of Malpartida, and parts of Season 7 in three locations in Extremadura.
At least a few of the horses in question are being provided by Victoria & Richard, a business that trains horses to compete internationally in the sports of Dressage and Eventing. (AKA making horses jump over hurdles and making them dance, respectively). Hoy additionally notes that these horses are used to sound and smoke.”
What would the generation need 70 robust horses for? Let’s get to supposing.
A few weeks ago, Spanish language fansite Los Siete Reinos reported the show would likely picture a battle scene in Malpartida, probably near a beautiful beachfront location called Los Barruecos. Producers also needed “lots of horses. They may land at the same spot since Dothraki, and the Unsullied are now working together. And once all those horses get the boats off, they’ll make lots of sounds, whether they’re joining the battle and kick lots of dust up.
Afterward, while at the Emmys, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) suggested that something huge’s on the horizon. Note that she’s read the Season 7 by this stage. “There’s, another battle that’s legendary, like,” she said. Seventy horses could go ways towards making a battle epic poem. And if Daenerys is involved, then her Dothraki Horde likely isn’t far behind.
The question remains: who will Dany and her army be fighting? Might Los Barruecos stand in for Blackwater Bay? Daenerys trying to take the city might be involved by that important conflict. Until we get some more definite news from Spain for now, we continue to suppose.
5. Game of Thrones casting in Malpartida brings fresh news!
Hoy reports that some applicants even spent the night waiting with friends in line, with some individuals lined up since mid afternoon the day before.
ModExpor International stated in their initial casting call that simply 2400 men and 600 women will make the reduction in the first day and receive an invitation for additional screening. Today, ModExpor is continuing their screenings for men, according to their own Facebook. Ultimately, only 450 individuals in the Cáceres region will have the chance to to become extras in the new season.
Los Siete Reinos has details on the process with a couple season 7 spoilers, as buddies of the website personally went through the process in hopes of becoming extras.
As they clarify, the nominees are analyzed to see if they pass the basic necessities asked for in the cast notice we saw: no visible tats, no contemporary hairstyles, etc. After this preliminary period, the would be extras are measured and fill the paperwork out, hoping they’ll be selected for the closing round.
Their report has solidified some of our suspicions, with their newest spoilers concerning Spain filming. They’ve also discovered that HBO’s folks have already been searching for a lot of horses to use in these actions scenes in Malpartida. Horses points toward the Dothraki, though it's not impossible only at that point the horses will be used in Cáceres city, too.
If the reports are right, we could be seeing a massive conflict with the Dothraki taking on an enemy and the Unsullied. I’m wondering if this battle is connected to the one we reported last week being filmed on studio sets. If they’re not joint we ’re in for another action- packed season!
6. Variety of New Roles Being Cast for Game of Thrones Season 7!
Casting speculation for Game of Thrones is somewhat funny this season. We ’re a bit confused! But there fun to be had, and happily our sources are still providing. We’ve just received a fine batch of season 7 casting breakdowns, offering up information about a number of characters the show has been casting. Let’s see what we can glean in the casting information that is new!
There aren't any names on the parts, only generic titles as have become the standard.
Then this is not the place for you if you don’t like potential spoilers.
He’s a senior military officer, and they’re looking for a white performer who uses the RP accent that is British. The celebrity becomes necessary for the week of September 6th.
He ’s a venerable priest with moral authority and gravitas. The show is seeking a white celebrity with characterful face with this part. He’s scheduled to shoot one week.
Warrior 45 age range. The character is a tough-looking bruiser with the assault skills of a pit bull, and the celebrity must be great at fighting. He has a “appreciable” quantity of dialogue too. It’s described as a part that is excellent that is “ for a top end performer.” Helpful clues in the description? We know it’s not a Dothraki character as the actor for the part must be white, and they’re asking for a neutral and non-posh English accent. This part is currently scheduled to shoot across October.
Gate Guard, in his 20’s. The character is described as a “Assured, characterful, straight-talking Northern lad with a terrific face to play across a really excellent chain of scenes.” They’re looking someone with charm, timing, and wit. He’s now scheduled to film between mid-October and mid-November.
City Guard, in his 30’s. The show is casting for a city guard who intercepts a suspicious-looking man on his nightly patrol. They demand an RP accent for this one.
Retailer, in his 40’s. The merchant appears at an inn during a busy evening. They’re seeking a character actor, for a non-combatant role. His look is more open. That suggests a character appearing someplace in Essos- or a spot we’ve never been since Daenerys is now on the move. This part is scheduled to shoot in the first week of November.
Wonderful Lady. Ah yes, what would Game of Thrones be nudity and without its courtesans. The show is casting for an attractive young courtesan who's confident of her own mind. It’s casting notes that total nudity is required for the role and described as a “good talking part”. Much like the merchant, the wonderful lady’s physical look is open, signifying this part is for somewhere on Essos, or at a place that is new.
Young Lord in his late 20’s. He’s a tall, attractive young lord, and the show is looking for a white performer who uses the RP accent. He’s scheduled to shoot in the week the.
Lieutenant, in his 20’s. The character is referred to as an athletic, physically fit, and disciplined warrior. This bears the hallmarks of a Dothraki character description. He’s set to shoot in three weeks, between mid-September and mid-November.
There’s a lot of mention of RP this time around. To clarify, the show tends to use RP accent around King’s Landing for the major well-to-do characters. Individuals from the lower class like Davos Northerners sound well, northern, and use an alternate accent. So it’s not a guarantee although King’s Landing is frequently pointed toward by RP.
What exactly do you think, readers? Who is that funny-looking person interrupting the nightly patrol? Which Gate has been guarded this time- Winterfell, another or Castle Black? Have at it!
