The Global University Employability Standing 2016, compiled by Times Higher Education, shows which universities recruiters at leading companies all over the world believe are the best at creating work-ready graduates.
Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc), a premier institute in the country which works in the field of scientific research and higher education was ranked 38 out of 150 universities worldwide in the Global University Employability Ranking 2016; It had an overall score of 331. It is the sole Indian Institute to make it.
These 150 universities span 34 states that are different, from the USA to Japan. Companies voted both, for associations within their particular state and universities round the world for international recruitments.
In certain states, grad jobs are difficult to come by, but in European nations such as Germany, Switzerland and France, professional expertise is built into degree programmes.
Unsurprisingly then, Germany, France and Switzerland are among the finest represented countries in the employability ranking, in addition to the Uk along with the USA.
Both Germany and Japan have an institution in the top ten, with Chinese and Canadian universities also appearing full of the position.
