The scientists will discuss ways in which Panchgavya and associated products can be used for medicinal purposes, rural development and food items, officials said.
“Scientific validation of Panchgavya and associated products and its certification is very much required because of its broad application, but it hasn't been done. We'll look at whether these claims are powerful or not. Once we certify and validate subsequently these products can become considerably popular,” he said.
The five subjects areas are ‘Singularity of Indigenous Cows’, ‘Panchgavya in Agriculture’, ‘Panchgavya in Medicine and Health’, ‘Panchgavya in Nutrition and Food ’ and ‘Panchgavya For Products, Utilities & Procedures ’.
Though it is promised these products are favourable and sustainable in most of the aspects, he explained, its application is limited to some regions and communities.
“The utilisation of Panchgavya and its products that are related is being done in different parts of the United States. In Ayurveda, it is used to deal with disorders like cancer. You can find many patents on cow goods in India and abroad,” he said.
He said the five subject areas could look at ‘validating their products over exotic cows’ as well as the singularity of indigenous cows, and ‘validating Panchgavya and associated products such as cancer, diabetes, blood pressure’ against human and animal diseases as medicine.
“Keynote demonstrations will even look at related products for use in goods for example soaps, mosquito coils, dhoop, wall panels, and insulators and certification of Panchgavya and scientific analysis he said.
