The Indian contingent has emerged as the most notable country in the International Memorial Games in Las Vegas with an impressive haul of 15 medals, which include three gold.
Living to the charge as the land of Aryabhatta and 'Human Computer' Shakuntala Devi, the Indian team kept its number 1 rank at the recollection games.
From team India, the youngest participant was five years old and also the oldest 42."
Another Team India member Maitri Maniar, who won silver for 8x8 digit multiplication, said: "The Indian Team has maintained the number 1 position in mental sports since 2012. I'm proud to be a part of this team."
'Human Calculator' Scott Flansburg, who is the chairman of the international federation, said: "The team (India) is the top. It turned out to be an excellent time to showcase their ability."
India Memorial Federation chairperson Gwendolen Noronha was responsible for choosing the country's finest from over 300 participants at the national games. "It gives me enormous pleasure to see India lift the title. Mental sports events like computations, memorization, speed reading also plays a critical role in the education of a student," Ms Norohna told NDTV.
India had also won the Mental Calculations World Cup 2014 in Germany.
